“Aizu” refers to the western area of Fukushima Prefecture. In Japanese, “Sakazuki” refers to cup specifically used for Japanese Sake, which might be used in Shintō sacrifices ceremonies or rituals. The Sake cup “Sakazuki” employed the master technique of “Keshikinji” that apply micro gold powder on the surface of the ware.
