The Craft of Cherry Bark “Kabazaiku” originated from the Kakunodate area of Semboku City, Akita Prefecture. The technique processed the bark of the old cherry tree with high temperature and pressed it into shape. The products have high performance on damp-proofing and can be used as containers or decorations.
